& Sponsors

Donations are currently being accepted to fund a memorial
for the victims of Our Lady of Angels Fire. On December
1, 1958 a fire at Our Lady of the Angels school on the west
side took the lives of 92 children and 3 nuns. There is
no permanent, outdoor memorial in their honor and a campaign
has been started to collect funds for such a memorial. 2008
marks the 50th anniversary of this horrible event,
and Father Robert Lombardo of the Mission of Our Lady of
the Angles hopes to make this memorial a reality by then.
Please send donations to: OLA Memorial, 5485 N. Milwaukee
Avenue, 2nd Floor, Chicago, 60630.
