Donations & Sponsors

--- Donations are currently being accepted to fund a memorial for the victims of Our Lady of Angels Fire. On December 1, 1958 a fire at Our Lady of the Angels school on the west side took the lives of 92 children and 3 nuns. There is no permanent, outdoor memorial in their honor and a campaign has been started to collect funds for such a memorial. 2008 marks the 50th anniversary of this horrible event, and Father Robert Lombardo of the Mission of Our Lady of the Angles hopes to make this memorial a reality by then. Please send donations to: OLA Memorial, 5485 N. Milwaukee Avenue, 2nd Floor, Chicago, 60630.

--- The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and its signature direct-service program, Wendy’s Wonderful Kids is now active in Illinois making adoptive, loving families a reality for thousands of children waiting in foster care in our communities. Proceeds fund cancer research and services for patients and their families. The class that raises the most money in each school receives a pasta party from Olive Garden.
