Q&A

Q: We wanted to get a tree frog, and my teacher suggested I do some reading first. Can you recommend a book? -- T.D., Cyberspace

A: Your teacher is wise. We can suggest two books: "You Want a WHAT For a Pet?" by Betsy Sikora Siino (Howell Book House, New York, NY, 1996; $19.95) offers a frog overview in the chapter called ``The Prince of Pets.'' For more technical information, check out "Care and Breeding of Popular Tree Frogs," by Phillipe deVosjoli, Robert Mailloux and Drew Ready (Advanced Vivarium Systems, Inc., Santee, CA, 1996; $8.50).
