A: There are about 100 kinds of plants considered dangerous to cats. Any member of the lily family can make a cat seriously ill. Azaleas can cause vomiting, cardiovascular collapse or coma. Baby’s breath can cause severe stomach upset. And marijuana can cause depression. A list of toxic plants is available for $10 from the ASPCA/National Animal Poison Control Center.
