What's What
Here's a chance for you to get to know a little more about our favorite show features!

Speak your Piece is a direct ripoff from a newspaper feature in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Every Wednesday after the 11 o’clock news, listeners are encouraged to call in and get 30 seconds to air their gripes. It’s an opportunity for listeners to blow off steam over just about anything-personal, political, transportational, parental, or outfit-related.

Sex Thursday is a weekly feature of Adults Only conversation. Throw in a Barney tape to distract the kids and tune in after the 11 o’clock news.

Radio Readers can loosely be described as Kathy and Judy’s on the air book club. Every six to eight weeks, they talk with the author of the selected book (with the exception of George Orwell, who was not available). They alternate choosing paperback books, which have included novels, non-fiction, and memoirs. Self help books are off limits.

“Vince” and “Rhonda” call the show a lot, particularly on Thursdays. They’re the fake names people use because they think they won’t be recognized, but most of their friends and neighbors figure it out anyway.
