Bidding will begin at 6:30 p.m. The money accumulated from the auction will go towards charity. Shipley stated that the public should stock up on three days worth of food and water, as well as, stocking up well before the Y2K deadline of Dec. 31, 1999. Shipley recommended a web address and a toll-free phone number for more helpful information about Y2K.
