We couldn’t help ourselves. The talk of stray dogs in Sochi makes us sad, but it also makes us scratch our heads. How did the Olympic planners let it happen? We have to cheer ourselves by humming this annoying tune. Sorry to plant it in your head!

News of their divorce can’t keep us from humming this gem. Here are the Captain & Tennille performing “Muskrat Love” on the Toni Tennille Show in 1980.

We’ll credit or blame Dave Eanet for this one. “Do You Hear The People Sing” from Les Miserable is his ear worm. Enjoy!

We can’t help ourselves. “Just the Way You Are” is playing on repeat in our heads. Even though it’s for the younger set, we think it’s pretty “amazing.” (Pun intended.)

We couldn’t help ourselves. The Super Bowl is in the news (a lawsuit filed today), but it’s also in our heads. Remember the good, old days? Go Bears!

After Orion Samuelson’s rousing rendition of “Push It” this morning, members of the morning crew are having trouble pushing this song out of their heads. For Pete McMurray it brings back college memories. For Anne and Andrea it’s high school. For Kevin … the womb.

This one comes courtesy of producer Kevin Powell. Here’s Chicago’s own  Wilco performing “I Might.”

So what if it’s played by robots? The Steve Cochran show morning crew can’t shake the strains of this Grammy-winning tune by Daft Punk.

After the Grammys we’re all humming this little number from 17-year-old New Zealand native Lorde. It’s pretty catchy, but the video is downright weird.

This one comes from Andrea Darlas. If you haven’t heard it, be warned: It’s catchy! And the video is downright bonkers. Enjoy.
