Andrea,
I listened to Gary Meier's show today (UGH! as usual).
I heard his comments when you mentioned the story of the dog that died.
Please don't take that junk from him. Don't lose your credibility.
Credibility seems to be in short supply these days at WGN.
He'll say it's his 'schtick". Don't be fooled. That's not the way it is portrayed by those of us who listen.
David, As a DePaul fan from years ago, I'm wondering why you don't take the current AD to task for the horrible status of the men's basketball program. Since her reign, the program has become irrelevent .
Long suffering alum and soon to be former season ticket holder.
Hey Kap,
I am reading "Home Sweet Hardwood: A Title lX Trailbreaker Breaks Barriers Through Basketball" by Pat McKinzie-LeChault and I think she would make a great guest on your show! Her story is so interesting; being a girl in love with and good at sports when it wasn't acceptable or lady-like to do so. Anyway, I thought I'd make the suggestion. Love the banter between you, Brian and Andrea. Keep up the good work.
WGN's Max Armstrong was in Oklahoma City yesterday. Hear his thoughts on the #tornado and his memories of Plainfield. wgnradio.com/2013/05/21/max…15 hours
