    Nick,
I love hearing movie reviews by you, Erik and Colin but have become so annoyed by both Erik and Colin starting every sentence with Um…or Uh…and pausing mid-sentence to add more Ums… and Uhs… that I change the station. Like many bad vocal habits, I've noticed you pick it up and and use it in your speech when speaking with them. For a professional broadcaster, that's unacceptable. Please speak with these men privately and encourage them to work at stopping that annoying habit. As you listen to them, try counting the number of times they use these vocal crutches or ask one of your staff to just raise a finger every time they hear it. Please take this in the spirit intended which is to help your show sound better to listeners.

    Hi, Nick,
First, I am neither a Cubs, nor a White Sox Fan.

But I do take exception to the comment that both you and Keith Moreland used for tonight's Cubs loss to the Braves (a heartbreaker).

Heartbreakers happen to teams that have a tradition of winning. That's not the Cubs.

To me, (if I'm Theo), two people lost tonight's game. First it was mismanaged! Second, how can you keep a closer that gives up two homers in the same inning (only the 25 time in the same game) to brothers to lose.

To me, Suevm and Marmol never wear the uniform again.

I've gone on to other programming. If you wish, you can answer me by the e-mail.

    Mike
