Mike,
Good Wednesday to you.
Can anyone explain as to why, when folks speak of all the tragedies that have occurred where a mass number of people are shot & killed, why doesn't anyone ever reference the events that occurred at Northern Illinois University.
It just seems as though these unfortunate victims are grossly overlooked.

Hello Mike,
First let me say, that I personly miss you here in Cincinnati. This station now seems to be trying to give us the plane label of you, and Gary.
But my question was this.
You once said that Miami was'nt for you for many reasons. One was the lack of responce in the murder rate.
Now that your in the "windy city"
How is it any different from there now.
Once again miss you here.
COME HOME!!!
Thanks .
Carl.
hi mike
just listened to your broadcast today to hear you say no one cares if gang bangers kill each other as an excuse for local apathy with the rash of gun killings in chicago. that used to be my opinion but my attitude on the topic has changed since listening to the radio broadcast by public radio on harper high school in chicago. this school has seen many students shot and killed.
3 reporters spent a semester embedded in the school. the insight into the true meaning of gang violence is eye opening. the narratives were compelling. suggest you invest the 2 hrs to listen to it at http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/ep….
thanks

you are so right about going to concerts back in the day – the smell of pot was everywhere.
and I believe I have lost hearing from sitting in the first row of many concerts for many many years.
questions for interview are all rigged. Come on, haven't you been on a hiring committee or worse the other side and tried to guess what the team was thinking? Also how about the insurance deal. Have you gotten a load of the blue cross blue shield commercial, with all the circus people and rock climbers holding up their card. I yell at the tv., my kids think I'm toughed but DON'T want to be in their group. thanks

I'm sorry if my spelling is off.
I'm getting drunk, and I deserve a break now and then.
