love your show.First I am 63 years old ,my father a world war II vet was an avid hunter as was all his
pals.He started my outdoor education at very early , he bought my first gun at the age of 10 and showed
me the right way to hunt.Over the years I have witnessed the lack of training and respect the new
group of hunters and fisherman have. This has caused hunting areas to be closed off and
support dying off.My Dad and his pals would never had let this happen. Those men would have been the voice of reason on the gun control issue. we as outdoor people have let the debate on gun control
be hijacked by the extremist. We must share the blame that this has become a major problem.
I have a strange question – do you have any of your parents' old hunting pictures? Your parents were members of The Armour Duck Club near Henry, IL, and my father was the club "manager" there, and hunted with your parents often.
I don't expect that you might find any pictures of my father, but I feel the need to ask the question. I remember your mother sewing, knitting or doing needlepoint in the duck blind, and then setting it aside when a flock came in and then outshooting everyone in the blind. (I'm sure that never upset your dad).
Anyways, perhaps you might also remember my father, Bill…
How can I hear or read the entire transcript from the May 12 , 2013 show concerning the soil and water legislation that is in jeopardy? Every loss of acres in conservation means a loss of habitat which affects not only wildlife — but us too!
