It’s time for the Wintrust Business Lunch with  Steve Bertrand!  On today’s show Steve welcomes:  Chicago Inno (Jim Dalke and Will Flanagan), Randi Shaffer (Social Media for Chicago Tribune), and Troy Henikoff (Tech Stars).

Steve begins the show talking with The Chicago Inno Guys (Will Flanagan and Jim Dalke) about the surge in online shopping during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  They also bring up an alarming report that the government and business’ may be tracking your online search history and spending habits.  Have you been looking to pick up a Christmas Tree the old fashioned way but without all the hassle?  Listen in and find out how to acquire one with the latest app!

Then, Steve brings on Randi Shaffer (Social Media for Chicago Tribune) to discuss all the latest happenings with the surprisingly tame Cyber Monday.  She also makes mention of the importance of checking “fake news” sites, especially after the recent surge through sites like Facebook and reddit.

Finally, we close the show with Troy Henikoff, the managing director of Tech Stars, to chat about the Tech Stars accelerator-model and how they put startup companies through a business style “boot camp” to help them secure success.
