Protesters on Wacker Drive in front of Trump Tower in downtown Chicago, November 9, 2016 (Cody Gough)

Brian and Cody discuss their Election Day routines as they tried to avoid getting sucked into the media insanity of Tuesday night’s voter coverage, and also talk a little bit about social media’s reaction to the big news that President-elect Trump upset Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Plus: is censorship an unintended result of an overreaction to “freedom of speech,” and is it too early go to Christmas shopping (hint: between Brian and Cody, one has completed some Christmas shopping, and the other has not)? And Cody also recounts the Cubs’ historic 2016 World Series win from the perspective of a guy who actually walked to Wrigley Field immediately following Game 7.
