The intrepid Martin Smith talks about his time in Syria covering ISIS and his new documentary

In his 40 years producing and reporting, Martin Smith has covered the world: from the revolution in Central America and the fall of communism in Russia, to the rise of Al Qaeda and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, to the inside story of the global financial meltdown. Martin’s latest focus is the civil war in Syria and the fight against ISIS, he joins Roe Conn and Anna Davlantes to talk about his time in Syria, Jordan, Turkey and Saudia Arabia shooting his latest documentary, “Confronting ISIS.”
