The Blackhawks looked to have made their final roster cuts at Monday morning’s practice.

Forward Andrew Desjardins was placed on injured reserve after suffering a lower body injury blocking a shot in a preseason game. He’s expected to miss four to six weeks. 19-year-old winger Alexandre Fortin was sent back to Quebec’s junior league after making a case to stick all camp long.

Forwards Brandon Mashinter and Mark McNeil weren’t at practice and will likely be placed on waivers before heading back to Rockford.
