CHICAGO — Chicago is the best city in America to enjoy without ever leaving the comforts of your apartment.

Whether our hermit skills were honed during blizzard survival or through Grubhub-fueled Hulu binges, a new study celebrates Chicago for catering to homebodies better than anywhere else in the U.S.

The Windy City was ranked the No. 1 spot for “urban hermits” looking to escape from the world by real estate blog Estately, which considered factors like internet speed, availability of deliverable food and alcohol, home affordability and number of people who work from home.
