Singer-songwriter Rachael Yamagata: “Chicago was what gave me my musical start”

Singer-songwriter Rachael Yamagata joins Justin to talk about her career, starting out in Chicago, playing with the band Bumpus and how they helped her learn about work ethic and getting the word out about her music, expanding her sound on  the new record, “Tightrope Walker,” enjoying the process of experimenting with sounds, the relationship she has with her songs, how the music has evolved since she first started, the importance of being a good collaborator and coming back to Chicago to perform at Thalia Hall next week.
