FOP Pres. Dean Angelo, Sr. on new CPD hires: It’s “nice” to have more individuals “contributing to the pension”

Chicago Fraternal Order of Police Lodge President, Dean C. Angelo, Sr., joins Roe Conn and Anna Davlantes to react to Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson announcing that the police department will add 516 patrol officers, 200 detectives, 112 sergeants, 92 field-training officers, and 50 lieutenants. President Angelo also talks about how these officers will be trained, what impact they will have on patrols, and what more he’d like to see done to help bolster the police force.
