We’re back at it on Sunday with another great edition of the Sunday Spin, with everything from candidates’ pneumonia to pneumatics. Just look it up!

First up, we’ll take our weekly spin through national politics and all things going on in the presidential contest.

Then state Sen. Michael Hastings (D-Tinley Park), joins the show. We’ll discuss social services and the impact of the governor’s veto of the $15 an hour wage for home healthcare workers.

After that, Republican state Rep. David McSweeney of Barrington Hills chimes in. We’ll get his take on this busy legislative election season as Republicans try to erode the Democratic super majorities in the General Assembly.

And after that, we speak with Sam Toia, the president and CEO of the Illinois Restaurant Association. Sam will give us the latest on the upcoming Chicago Gourmet festival (yum) and we’ll also discuss the intersection of food and politics–the issues confronting Chicago restaurant owners amid rising taxes and wages.
