The Great Outdoors with Charlie Potter: 8/21/16
With a crazy weathered August, Charlie kicked things off this week touching on the unfortunate flooding going on in the south and how that is majorly effecting the wildlife and their food sources. Also there is a developing battle between the commercial and sport fisherman in the US as the stripped bass population is dropping drastically. The dedicated funds in respective states is also a subject Charlie brought up because there isn’t any for the wildlife that need it in Illinois. The “State Duck Stamp” program allows for more funds to help the needed wildlife and conservationists in Illinois.
