For those of you who don't believe age discrimination doesn't exist, what an eye opener on the radio today. After working to keep my parents out of a nursing home the last 10 years, I find their comments about the elderly mannerisms blatant examples of discrimination. Take their statements about seniors and remove the word "senior" and replace it with any other ethnicity and decide for yourself. Those two don't realize that damage that words can do. We are all seniors in the making. What kind of message do you want to send to the generations that will be taking care of you? They are us and we are them. If you ever had to take care of your parents, you know exactly what I mean.
