Drone flight over Lollapalooza leads to ‘educational conversation’ with FAA

A man who flew a drone equipped with a camera over Lollapalooza got a talking to from the Feds this week.

Alfredo Roman posted that video online after he recorded the Lollapalooza crowd with his drone flying overhead about 250 feet in the air.

The FAA says while Roman is not in any trouble, they did have an “educational conversation” with him.
