Construction barge sinks in Chicago River

A construction barge sank into the Chicago River, near the LaSalle Street bridge, this morning.

It was being used as part of the Chicago Riverwalk renovation project.

A team of divers was called out about an hour after the barge started taking on water to figure how it sank and the best way to get it out of the water.
