Why are they building houses outside Tribune Tower?

Hundreds of volunteers will be working just outside the WGN Radio studios on Pioneer Court this week to help build houses for families in need.

Matt Johnson is CEO of the Chicago area Habitat for Humanity.

He spoke with WGN Radio’s Brandon Campbell saying once the houses are built they’ll be partially taken apart then reassembled in low-income neighborhoods in the Chicago area.
