Get into the St. Patrick’s Day mood with two March 9 benefit concerts featuring Ho Etsu Taiko, a Japanese drumming troupe, collaborating with Paddy Homan and other local Irish artists. The event will benefit a new Legacy Garden at the Midwest Buddhist Temple.

In this interview, Rick chats with Jason Matsumoto, Ori Kawahara, Ryan Toguri and Tiana Pyer-Pereira, four of the members of Ho Etsu Taiko, about music and Buddhism. Oh, and they knock our socks off with some beautiful beats.
