Crews respond to River North building after water tower ‘buckles’

Chicago Fire Department and police were called to the River North neighborhood after a water tower appeared to be leaning on a six story building, sending water pouring onto the ground, according to officials and witnessessaid.

The tower is on a building at 409 W. Huron St., according to Chicago Fire Department Spokesman Will Knight.

Chicago police were on the scene diverting traffic, police said.
