Highlights: Blackhawks lose 2-1 in SO

By Colleen Kane

The Blackhawks knew they were facing a Sharks team that was going through a dry spell when the teams met at the SAP Center on Saturday night.

The drought continued through 46 minutes, but it affected both teams.

Neither team found the back of the net until both did in the third period, and neither could find it again in overtime. The problem was solved by a shootout, which the Sharks won for a 2-1 victory. The Hawks haven’t pulled off a win in 19 overtimes this season.
