Highlights: Blackhawks fade late in 4-3 loss to Wild

By Colleen Kane

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Blackhawks finally had gained control — and the lead — after two periods of sluggish play Thursday night against the Wild at Xcel Energy Center.

But late-game mistakes and a penalty kill that ranks among the worst in the NHL pushed the game right back to the Wild.

Wild defenseman Marco Scandella sent a wrist shot past Hawks goalie Corey Crawford with 1 minute, 48 seconds to play for a 4-3 victory that snapped the Hawks’ six-game road winning streak. It marked the first time the Hawks have lost two games in a row in regulation this season.
