Great show, loved to hear about wine pairings. I’d also like to suggest another route if you can’t get to a local store, the California Wine Club. I’ve discovered smaller, award-winning wineries whose wines are not typically found in local stores or wine shops. The California Wine Club is the most convenient way to find these wines. For this Thanksgiving, with so many flavors and textures going on, The California Wine Club suggests a sparkling wine with appetizers; put both a red and a white on the table. Riesling is a great white to choose or a tank-fermented Chardonnay (not too rich) and a fruity Syrah or a flavorful Cabernet Franc for the red.
