Former Bull Jay Williams calls in to talk about his disappointment in basketball recruit Cliff Alexander for the way he tricked University of Illinois fans, how high school players need to act more gracious to build their personal brand and how media has negatively affected the recruiting process.

If being a kid is the excuse then his parents are poor parents to let him do this.
    Great perspective by Jay Williams

The problem here for Cliff is this is a train wreck that the whole "community" is watching burn. Is Cliff going to make a ton of money? Yes. But I would be willing to bet my last dollar that this kid/guy ends up flat broke because all you have to do is look at "daddy" when he watched him pick up the Illinois hat and pull the stunt he did. There is no structure or discipline anywhere near this kid. Mom and Dad were swayed by the few hundred thousand thrown their way by Bill Self and when Cliff leaves KU after his 1 semester, he'll have momma and daddy dumb ass showing him the way…TRAIN WRECK.
