1st Annual Clark Kent Memorial Ride

Clark Kent Safely Home Canine Rescue is having its 1st Annual Clark Kent Memorial Drive on Saturday, October 12th.

Clark Kent and his two siblings, Karma & Finn, had all recently fallen ill and were hooked up to IV’s fluids until having to be rushed to the ER of VCA, Downers Grove. Karma and Finn have moved on to a healthy recovery but unfortunately, little Clark Kent did not make it and passed away.

In his honor, this Memorial Ride will take place beginning at Liquid Therapy, 3501 Channahon Rd. in Joliet. Registration takes place the day of the event, beginning at 9 a.m. Bikes and cars are to be out by 10:30 a.m. All proceeds go to the Safely Home Canine Rescue.

Motorcycles are $10, w/ passenger $15. Cars are $15.

The mission of Safely Home Canine Rescue is to save dogs from homeless situations, coordinate efforts with other organizations to further our cause,  educate others on the benefits of spaying and neutering and provide a loving home for each and every dog.
