“Auxiliary police” misconduct results in hilarity

In Kansas, the Valley Falls City Council approved an auxiliary police program, which would allow certain civilians to drive in police cars and patrol the city. The results were less than spectacular.

    Something like this would never happen here in Canada. Our reserve and auxiliary constables are properly screened and trained (approx. 260 hrs) in all aspects of policing including use of force before they are allowed to perform any duties. I hope these American auxiliary police officers were not issued any use of force tools…
