Comcast SportsNet reporter Susannah Collins, who’s been covering the Blackhawks, was fired Thursday night. This comes just days after she mistakenly used the word “sex” in place of “success” during a live broadcast outside the team’s locker room.

That blunder earned lots of attention on late-night television and on the Internet where it went viral. Viewers there also found a series of her earlier, more risque work as a co-host of Sports Nutz, a sexually explicit sports talk show.

But in an official statement, Comcast said Collins was let go for “circumstances unrelated to her on-air remarks Tuesday night.”
