Michigan Avenue reopens after suspicious package found to be safe

Michigan Avenue has reopened after, for the second day in a row, a suspicious package had forced its closure. Today, the item was located in Benito Juarez Plaza, across from Tribune Tower. Pedestrians and vehicle traffic were stopped for nearly two hours until the item was determined to be harmless.
