Blackhawks to face Wild in first round

While the Blackhawks rested many of their stars on Saturday, the only question that remained was who would they face in the conference quarterfinals. The answer came late Saturday night as, after the final games of the regular season were completed and the seedings were finalized, Chicago learned it would be meeting Minnesota in round one.  The Blackhawks, the team with the NHL’s best record this year, were 2-0-1 against the eighth-seed Wild. winning at the United Center and splitting the meetings in St. Paul.

Here is the schedule for the Blackhawks-Wild series (Times CT):

Tuesday, April 30          Chicago 2, Minnesota 1 OT
Friday, May 3                Chicago 5, Minnesota 2
Sunday, May 5              Minnesota 3, Chicago 2 OT
Tuesday, May 7             Chicago 3, Minnesota 0
Thursday, May 9          Chicago 5, Minnesota 1
