Country music legend George Jones dead at 81

Country Music Hall of Fame member George Jones has died at age 81, his publicist says.  Jones, a Grand Old Opry member and Kennedy Center Honoree was hospitalized a week ago with fever and irregular blood pressure.

Jones’ country music hits include “She Thinks I Still Care,” “The Grand Tour,” “Walk Through This World With Me,” “Tender Years” and “He Stopped Loving Her Today.” He was once married to Tammy Wynette, with whom he recorded a number of duets including “We’re Gonna Hold On,” “Golden Ring” and “Near You.”
