When product branding goes wrong

Target is dealing with two different product naming controversies thanks after selling the sandal, “Orina” which means “urine” in Spanish, and the color “Manatee grey” for plus-size dresses. Bob Killian, head of Killian Branding, joins the show to explain the good and bad of product branding.

    My two favorite branding rules? 1. Say the name out loud before you order the sign. 2. Cram the words all together into a URL and and look for unintended wordplay. My favorite offender on both rules? http://www.furnishit.com
