UPDATE: There are conflicting media reports of an arrest or possible suspect or suspects in custody in the Boston bombing case. Various sources, including CNN, had reported that a suspect had been arrested. Later reports suggest no arrests have been made. Earlier details indicated that the potential suspect in custody was identified in large part thanks to a surveillance camera at a Lord & Taylor store across from the site of the second bombing. A briefing, likely to clarify much of the confusion over any new evidence and the status of potential suspects, was originally announced for 4 p.m. CT, but that has now been postponed and a new time has not been announced.
