Steve Alexander’s reports from the explosions in Boston

WGN Radio’s Steve Alexander was in Boston as a spectator to watch the 2013 Boston Marathon. Unexpectedly, he found himself reporting from the scene of an apparent terrorist attack. Hear are three of his reports:

Steve initially called the WGN Radio newsroom at approximately 2 p.m. CT, minutes after the explosions, with first word of the attack:

At 2:23 p.m., Steve joined Mike McConnell live on air for an eyewitness account of the scene:
