Talking about bowling alleys—-American Profile Magazine this weekk showed the oldest bowling center in the country celebrating 100 years. At one time an employee would reserve your bowling ball, check your coat, rent your bowling shoes (and polish your street shoes while you bowled) and cleaned/blocked your hat. He also served as your bookie along with rolling your favorite cigar. Life was good!
