The dangers of meeting online friends offline

Bill Moller talks to Arden Greenspan-Goldberg about how parents have to pay attention to what their teens are doing online, and the risks of meeting their “friends” offline. This photo is of Arden and her daughter Samara, who was the inspiration for Greenspan’s book, What Do You Expect? She’s A Teenager! A Hope and Happiness Guide for Moms With Daughters ages 11-19.

It was a delight to be your guest on 2-2 Parenting segment on your teens on and off-line behavior.
    Tips
As parents we needs to be fingers on the pulse
    Invitational, not confrontational
Come from a place of love, rise above and see the bigger picture
Having a strong connection to your child/teen is all about risk prevention
Expect them to make mistakes and learn from them
We are their first role model
Trust your gut and teach your child to trust theirs
    Blessings,
    Arden
