    This, while unfortunate, is not news. Chicago has always been on the upper echelons of the heavily infested cities list. This year it just happened to be Chicago instead of Philly, NYC or LA. It partially not Chicago's fault because it is a major transportation hub (both flight and bus) plus it is a pretty big tourist destination. The base level of the solution should start with the hotel industry's care for bed bugs since they are the front lines for bed bug transference.
